A word from the clients

“Several months ago my husband and I commissioned Alex to do a portrait of our eldest daughter. We loved it so much, as he caught the minute details that are distinct to her, that we have since commissioned several more pieces. He has painted portraits of each of our children, as well as both of us and several landscapes that now adorn our home. He is patient, easy to work with, and extremely talented. We will be commissioning additional works in the future.”

“I recently had the pleasure of meeting this young upcoming artist and was able to see some of his work, which prompted me to order a painting for my nephew who was getting married. I showed him a few pictures I thought would make a good painting, but in his very professional and honest opinion he guided me to the best choice. Needless to say, I was very pleased. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and talented.

Thank you Mr. Alex Foltz for a job well done and I look forward to doing more business with you in the future .”

“My wife and I have commissioned several pieces of work with Alex. Years back I had him paint a bonsai tree as a gift for my wife. She loved it so much that for our next anniversary I asked Alex to paint our favorite picture from our wedding. The results were incredible. He started by making sure we had the perfect photo to work from, then he had a print made that he could work from. Alex even sent me updates of progress along the way. It was very cool to see his process, and then the final product just blew me away... You can imagine my wife's reaction!

In fact, she liked it so much that for father's day she commissioned a painting from Alex that took a bit extra to make happen. She gave Alex a picture of me holding my son, and another picture of my late father holding me as a baby. Alex took those two photos and painted this masterpiece of my father holding me in the background, and in the foreground me holding my son. Needless to say when this was given to me by surprise there were some tears. Happy tears.

We have had him do other non oil pieces for us here and there, but these are the ones that really stick out to us and will always be with us as a family. Thank you, Alex.”

“I saw a painting Alex did and I had to look at it twice because I thought it was a photograph at first. I inquired about getting a charcoal drawing done of me and my girlfriend for her birthday. He was very responsible and mature about it because it’s a more personal photo of the two of us. He did the drawing in a faster time frame then he had said. He is very pleasant to talk to and work with. He’s very reasonably priced as well. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome: it’s extremely detailed, like we were in the moment all over again whenever we look at it. Absolutely perfect is how I’d describe my experience and our satisfaction with the end product.”
